Saturday Super Mum

17 Sep

A fantastic turnout today!  It was great to see the gym buzzing with excitement and a special mention to our Sally despite being past her due date turned up for the Saturday WOD. I had lots of towels and boiling water on standby.

Strength component was the dead lift today. 2×5 1×5+

We tried to focus on touch and go today and to not lose our shape when pausing and resetting.  Good job everyone.

The WOD was a 20 minute AMRAP of 15 kettle bell swings, 10 ring dips and 5 strict pull ups.  Anything above 7 rounds was fantastic in double figures and you are a legend.

No time for the After Party, maybe next week.

Good luck Sally. X

PS. A goodbye to Joe you are an amazing client good luck buddy for the future.

  1. Goodness Sally. I thought your toughest WOD day would have come and gone by now!
I just got back from my 2 week holiday in St Ives and was looking at ‘latest news’ to see whether the youngest crossfitter had arrived yet! Over the holiday I had a few mini dreams that you had had a girl. One of them actually was a small fluffy pink kitten, which I took to be a sign that it was a girl. I have to say I’ve never dreamed of any of you lot at the gym before so I thought it must be a sign the baby had arrived.
Anyway good luck and hope to see the new arrival soon. X

  2. Thanks cindy. Glad you had a good holiday, kittens lol.
Still no baby but hopefully this week.
