We have added two new classes to the Saturday morning schedule, starting from next weekend (12th January).
Basic Barbell – Strength
60mins of dedicated strength training! The first 30mins will be focused on upper body push/pull movements e.g. press, bench, barbell row, pull-ups, dips, etc. The second 30mins are focused on lower body strength movements e.g. squats, deadlifts and associated accessory movements.
If you are following a structured strength programme you will be able to “get your reps in” during this session. Otherwise, you will be assigned a programme…!
Basic Barbell – Olympic Lifting
60mins of dedicated olympic lifting training! The first 30mins are dedicated to the snatch and its variations, while the second half of the class will focus on the clean and/or jerk.
There is no WOD or other conditioning in either of these classes; just heavy lifting.
