For women who want to learn the barbell lifts, and in an all-female environment – here’s great news!
Crossfit London announces not one but two new seminars, back by popular demand!
WonderBar! Strength training for Women
Saturday 18 May 2013, 2-5pm (3 hours)
This is a unique strength training workshops for women, by women. It includes (using all the scaling and assistance needed) the drills, skills and learning from scratch how to:
  • Deadlift
  • Overhead press
  • Front squat
  • Pull-ups
  • After the initial practice with PVC poles, we’ll get the bars and bumper plates out and work up a bit heavier. Cost £50

And then a month later is:

WonderBar! Olympic Weightlifting for Women
Saturday
15 June 2013, 2-5pm (3 hours)

      • This workshop includes (using all the scaling and assistance needed): The Olympic lifts:
      • The snatch
      • The clean-and-jerk
      • You’ll be taken step-by-step through all the supporting moves, and then get the bars and bumper plates out for real practice. Cost £50

Both seminars are run by a team of qualified female trainers of experience, passion and boundless enthusiasm for their subject; and are taught in a friendly, fun and supportive atmosphere.

Will suit women of all ages and fitness levels, but we assume you are fit enough to learn and move for 3 hours. We don’t assume you have prior weightlifting experience, or indeed strength, but assume you do have some body awareness. If you are not sure about anything, email
