Seven brave souls got their dose of New Years Spirit (CrossFit style) at the Blackboard Gym in Bethnal Green this morning.
After a warm up of three rounds of 15-20-15 box jumps, kettlebell swings, and press-ups, we had ourselves a little l-sit practice on the rings.
Thoroughly warmed up, we moved on to the WOD for the day of:
- 12 Snatch grip deadlifts
- 9 Hanging power snatches
- 6 Snatch balance (kind of like a snatch grip push press, landing in an overhead squat)
An excellent effort by all, and sign of great things to come for 2010!
