The volcano may be disrupting air travel right now, but here at CrossFit London, we soldier on regardless; stiff upper lip and all that.
We started with some no-nonsense strength work:
Weighted ring dips
Some excellent work today as folks built on last week’s session to set some brand new PRs. Especially well done to Rita, who got her first bodyweight dip, and then immediately followed it with a 3.75kg weighted dip! Whoop whoop!
As if to reinforce the national motto of “Get Angry, and Lift Heavy Stuff” (I may have interpreted things somewhat) we got stuck into:
- Deadlifts 10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1
- Burpees 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-10
Prescribed loading for the deadlifts was a whopping 1.25x bodyweight.
Top hole, pip pip, jolly good.
