The Sunday morning class started at its new 0900 time slot today.
We kicked off with a little warm up of one handed kettlebell swings with occasional hand-transfers and related tomfoolery.
We went on to work a little on the snatch before heading to the WOD for the day:
- 20 Thrusters
- 20 Sumo deadlift high pulls
- 20 Push jerks
- 20 Hang power snatch and overhead squats
- 20 Front squats
To make things more interesting, there were three burpees to be completed at the beginning of each minute before any barbell work could be done.
Terrific effort by all. So terrific, in fact, that we even had time for a calming and restorative stretch-down session at the end!
We also got a chance to welcome Toronto native Sarah to CrossFit London this morning. She’s going to be studying here for a couple of years so we expect to see lots of her over the coming months!
