WOD 17 October: Hail to the King

Today’s WOD was forged in the fiery depths of the 0630 classes to celebrate (commiserate?) John K. leaving these shores.

But why should the morning class get all the fun?

So after a bit of jumping and bouncing over boxes and some handstand practise we had a punt at:

“Hail to the King”

  • 5x Press, 10x Push Press, 15x Push Jerk (2 rounds)
  • 33 Back squats
  • 5x Press, 10x Push Press, 15x Push Jerk (2 rounds)
  • 33 Front squats
  • 5x Press, 10x Push Press, 15x Push Jerk (2 rounds)
  • 33 Overhead squats

This is one of those WODs that never really lets up. And your shoulders take a I-can’t-remove-my-shirt-to-take-a-shower kind of beating.

Special note goes to Joe for completing his first WOD since graduating from the beginners classes!
