WOD 2 Jan 2011: Getting back to business

2011 kicked off in great style at the gym this morning.

After another intensely competitive round of CrossFit Dodgeball to warm up, we got straight to work.

This morning’s WOD was all about short sprints. Each of the three couplets was performed for as many rounds as possible within five minutes. The next couplet began after a strict two minute rest.

Couplet 1: AMRAP 5 mins

  • 10 Heavy kettlebell swings
  • 10 Box jumps

2 mins rest

Couplet 2: AMRAP 5 mins

  • 10 Thrusters
  • 10 Sumdo deadlift high pulls
Yay thrusters?
Yay thrusters?

2 mins rest

Couplet 3: AMRAP 5 mins

  • 10 Push press
  • 10 Burpees (of course!)
