Something I want to share with you all quickly about cleaning and snatching.

I have noticed that with some members when it comes to doing a hang snatch or clean you are struggling with extension, and pull way too much with your arms.

This means that during a WOD both of these moves become very hard, and form becomes a huge problem.

My solution is for you take this from the floor!

I believe this means you are able to form a much better starting position, which allows for the hamstrings to load in order to perform the move.

If we can start in a better position we have a better chance of a successful catch.

So if you find you’re struggling with cleans or snatches…..take it from the floor each time.
