Isn’t it always the way? You pitch up at the gym, take a glance at the board and say to yourself, “I fancy my chances with that WOD”.
Well it was a little like that today. I dredged up an old favourite that paired overhead squats with hang power snatches. The basic rep scheme looked quite nice at first glance:
Power snatch 10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1
Overhead Squat 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-10
But wait…what is that?
15 Tuck jumps in between rounds?
And so it was. A perfectly good workout ruined by tuck jumps.
Hats off to everyone (from 0630 in the morning to 1930 in the evening!) who I saw take this one on. It was deceptively tough!
