Women’s Virtuosity: challenge yourself!

How do we improve ourselves? Keep pushing ourselves to lift that little bit heavier, go a bit faster, squeeze out another rep. Comparing our performance to others is great for bringing out competetiveness, but in the end, it’s surprising ourselves by our own abilities that is so satisfying.

Tonight’s drills included clean, front squat and push press drills, as they were all needed later in the WOD.

Then a few handstands, just to get a different view of the world.

There was a mini workout of I min of single skips followed by
1 min double unders (or attempts at)

and finally the  WOD
As many rounds as possible in 15 mins:

5 power cleans
5 thrusters
5 pullups

Very tough going. The girls pushed themselves hard, getting firmly on that road to long term improvement. Those who eventually ran out of pullups didn’t give up but did ring rows as a sub.
