Nice and easy warm up to get everyone’s core temperature up after coming in from windy cold outdoors:
Ladder of 10 burpees, 1 chin over the bar anyhow; 9 burpees, 2 chin over the bar all the way up to 1 burpee and 10 chin over the bar.
After everyone warmed up we have moved to strength component of Front Squats where the best score belongs to Janis for his 130kg. Lots of PBs in the 7.30pm class too. Well done everybody.
WOD was a simple triplet of:
kettlebell swings (24/16kg)
knees to elbows (or above the hip level anyhow)
double unders (or attempts)
Results were as follows:
Well done to everybody who:
– ‘chose’ to do the WOD with the heavier KB
– Socs for her extra 2 handstands
– got through the WOD while attempting the DUs all the way through
– did it the Rx’d
– finished the WOD
– got PB on front squats
Please take care of your hands in the next few days so you will not be leaving any chunks of your skin behind (as it happened to Allan tonight).
