Strength work

Deadlifts: 3-3-3 at 70%, 80% & 90% of 1RM

Weighted pull-ups: 2 sets of 6-8

 

WOD

AMRAP 15mins

3 Handstand push-ups (forehead to floor)

6 Strict pull-ups

9 Knees to elbows (no kip)

12 Kettlebell swings (32kg/24kg)

  1. strength: 3 x 65kg, 3 x 72.5kg, 6 x 80kg
    WOD; instead of 6 pullups I did 2 negatives each round, kettle bell was 20kg and HS push up was to 1.5 blue mats + an abmat. 5 Rounds + 3 HS pushups

  2. deadlift: 110*3, 125*3, 140*8
    regaining some form in the deadlift – have to try & catch up to Edd & Pat!
    WOD: 4 rounds + 10 swings
    HSPU – 1 ab mat + 3 yoga mats
    32kg KB first 3 rounds then 24kg
    very tough WOD, was pretty lethargic spent most of the time with my hands on hips. HSPU are slowly improving…

  3. Deadlift
    3 reps x 2 sets @ 142.5 kg
    5 reps x 1 set @ 142.5kg

    WOD amrap 15 mins
    3 handstand pushups
    6 strict pull ups
    9 knees to elbows
    12 kettlebell swings @ 40kg

    5 rounds + 3 knees to elbows

    Good WOD, really tough on the grip

  4. HSPU on a box, pullups red and blue (grr!) and 24kg kettlebell.
    4 rounds, 6PU and 6 K2E’s. My poor hands.

  5. Dead lift 120×3, 140×3, 160×3
    Dip: 3x2with 20kgs (is that what the heavy vest is?)

    Wod :5rounds, 6 knees to elbows. Hats off for doing that Ruari with 40kgs. Monster

  6. 7 rounds and 3 HSPUs, but only with 16kg kettlebell as still having to go light on certain movements due to back ‘issues’
