The last piece of my Australian puzzle.

Reebok Crossfit, Goldcoast.

I love the name of the place, Goldcoast. I was staying in a hotel where the address actually was Surfers Paradise, (an area of the Goldcoast).

The weather may have been a bit like a British summer (it was their winter) but it still looked beautiful.

I don’t have a photo of the gym I visited though as it was super early in the morning, extra points please for being up so flipping early on holiday with a baby!!

You will just have to take my word for it when I say that the perks of Reebok where pretty cool with some awesome kit.

I managed to visit on Crossfit for Hope Day, which meant not only was I up early on my holidays but the wod was gonna be epic!!!

Here is how it went……………..

In the style of Fight Gone Bad

1 minute on each movement, a minute of rest then repeat x3

Burpees

Snatch

Box Jumps

Thrusters

Pull Ups

In the original Hope Wod it is meant to be barbells but we used Kettlebells and Dumbells.

The key was not going to hard out of the blocks and saving some power for the remaining 2 rounds.

I will let you decide from looking at the scores who took that to heart and who went like a bat out of hell?!?!?!?!?!

  1. Rather apprehensive at first with this but once I got comfortable with the discomfort of continuous pain (!), really enjoyed this 🙂
