It’s cool to see the versatility of Crossfit. Take 3 moves, tweak the rep scheme and times, and you can create a bunch of different workouts. Which was how today panned out. The main class and foundations both did deadlifts for strength, followed by a WOD involving the same moves. This is what our Foundations lot did.
15 min AMRAP
12 Kettlebell swings
7 knees to elbows
burpee ladder 1,2,3 etc
So that’s 2 nice steady moves, rudely interrupted by a burpee, then anther….and another. Quite a horrid workout – as all the guys looked to be in trouble after 3 mins, but battled on bravely to the finish.
On the Podium:
Benoit the Survivor – who accidentally blundered into main class and found himself doing his first Colin-style beasting.
Bronze to Chris – third place in WOD, but got 2 handstand pushups earlier. Nuff said.
Silver to Katie – Always uses the minimum number of plates on her bar, even if it it means struggling with the 20’s. Top girl!
Daniel the Machine: He’s cut his hair, and is a mean force to be reckoned with!
