Sorry if this is news to you, but if you’re over fifteen years old then that career as a gymnast is probably out of reach by now. Despite this I know you really still want to have the strength, flexibility and musculature of a gymnast. We all do really.
And so you should since discovering gymnastics is a challenging, fun and enjoyable way to condition your body. Learning how to perform forward/backward rolls, headstands, bridges, cartwheels, handstands… all the way through to front springs, backhand springs (backflip) and round-offs.
For a couple of years we have brought in some specialist gymnastics coaches for weekend classes at the original CrossFit London in Bethnal Green with numerous slots on both Saturdays and Sundays. They have proven to be one of our most popular classes, getting booked up incredibly quickly.
It’s therefore only natural that we bring these classes to our new Vauxhall branch, CrossFit London SE11.
From the end of the month, we will be launching a new midweek slot with Amelia Hicks (formally Chavez-Murguia) on Tuesday evenings. So for those of you who can’t always make the weekend classes at Bethnal Green, are more local to Vauxhall or simply want some extra handstand time in the week, you can now get this courtesy of CrossFit SE11.
Amelia’s classes start Tuesday 25 June 2013 at 6.30pm with an absolute beginners class, and a 7.30pm with a beginners class. Not sure which one to book on to? Check out our adults gymnastics information here.
